Workshops & Speaking Engagements

I teach workshops and seminars focused on how founders and operators make decisions in the early stages of building.

Most people don’t need more information.
They need a clearer way to think about what they’re building—and what they might be missing.

These sessions are designed to help participants step back, see more clearly, and make stronger decisions before those decisions become expensive to change.

Build Different: What to Build First

How early-stage founders make the right decisions before they launch

This session focuses on how participants can evaluate what’s actually worth building before committing time, capital, and energy.

Participants learn how to:

  • distinguish between ideas and viable businesses

  • simplify what they’re building

  • make clearer, more grounded early decisions

Build Different: Seeing Risk Before it Takes Shape

How early-stage decisions create risk long before it shows up

This session focuses on how risk forms in early-stage efforts—and how to identify it early.

Participants learn how to:

  • recognize structural, decision, and accumulated risk

  • understand how “progress” can introduce hidden risk

  • apply a simple risk assessment they can use at any stage
